Game Content Site

One of my favorite methods for gateways is a game related blog or news site.  There is less competition for these site, plus there are many ways to monetize.  Mot only can you have CPAlead gateways, but you can also put up banner ads or take commissions on sales of the game!

Building the site

First, look at upcoming game releases.  There’s going to be a much tougher battle for games that are already released.  Then create a site  on a domain with the keyword.  The site could be self hosted, or on a free blog such as blogspot or wordpress.com.  Customize the site to look appealing.  Pick a good theme or color scheme.  Then post some news related to the game.  Add adsense for some extra revenue.  The more you update, the better the site will do in the search engines.  Now create a section for downloads.  This is where the gateway comes in.  Create a new page called the download section.  Make sure there is at least one clear link from every page on the site to the downloads section.  Now go to gamecopyworld.com.  This is where you will download the patches for the game.  People usually search for no-cd patches, trainers, and hacks.  Then upload the file, and use the CPALead download gateway to have your users complete the survey for the download.   Always try to update the downloads page with your new uploads as soon as you can.  Then create a quick blog post on the new upload.

Site Promotion (similar to the TV shows method)

• Create a youtube video with a snippet of the game or a trailer of the game.  Put you web address in the annotations, sidebar, or anywhere else it could be seen.  Try this with as many game clips or trailers as you can.
• post a video of you using a hack or cheat, with a “download here” link to your downloads page.
  
• Comment on other youtube videos about your game site with your link.  Don’t make it look like spam.
• Yahoo answers- ask a question: where can I get *insert patch* online?  answer from another account with your link and choose it as best answer.

PPC is not recomended as the keywords are much more bidded on.  If you have an Amazon associates account, you can put up banners on your site with a link to the game’s Amazon page.
